• 1 cup of fir needles
• 1 cup dried mixed citrus peels
• 5 cinnamon sticks
• 2 bay leaves
• 1/4 c. whole cloves
• 1 qt. water

To prepare, combine the ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for as long as desired, checking it often and adding water as needed. Mixture may be stored in refrigerator for one week for use again.
